Add yeast/milk mixture and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping down sides of bowl with spatula, if needed.

Place dough in a greased 9x 5 nonstick pan. Smooth dough with spatula. Cover and let rise in warm place (75-80) until dough is level with top of pan (approximately 30-40 minutes).

Bake in a preheated 375F oven for 60-65 minutes. Do not under-bake. To prevent over-browning, cover with foil after first 15 minutes of baking. To test for doneness, tap loaf with fingernail. A crisp, hard sound indicates a properly baked loaf. Turn out of pan and cool thoroughly on a wire rack before slicing with electric knife or serrated knife.

*For lighter colored bread, use one whole egg and enough egg whites to equal 3/4 cup. Celiac disease effects how the body breaks down gluten rich food like Flour, just about everything containing wheat, barley and a few other grains.

Check your grocery store for isles that have gluten free products. These isles are located around the organic foods section of your store and contain all types of gluten free products. One thing you will notice in this isle is that everything is over price. For example a regular loaf of bread in the bakery isle cost around a buck, as where a loaf of gluten free bread cost 4-6 bucks and the loaf is about 1/4th the size. You can also check online. Online websites that sell specialty foods and gluten free products and ship them right to your house. This will give you savings in the products purchased compared to in a store although it may eventually cost the same or more from shipping cost so look for online stores with free shipping and buy up in bulk to save money on non perishable items. You can go to your local health food or bulk stores. These stores you can find bulk gluten free products like flour and pastas to take home and make your own homemade gluten free products. Soy flour is the most like wheat as where it works out to 1cup= 1cup when substituting to make Gluten Free Products at home.

Gluten Free Definitions

A gluten free diet is recommended amongst other things in the treatment of celiac disease and wheat allergy .
